Персоналии в науке: к 60-летию профессора З. К. Темиргазиной

Abstract

The article contains a brief analysis of scientific activity and an overview of the main scientific works of Doctor of Philology, Professor Z. K. Temirgazina. The article describes her contribution to the study of the category uation, semantic syntax, and theory of speech communication and highlights the results in the field of investigation of linguis-tic manipulation in political discourse and gender-related aspects of language. The authors demonstrate her role in the for-mation of the linguoaxiological scientific school in Kazakhstan for over two decades. Apart from the theoretical issues, the scholar also deals with the applied tasks of linguistics, and specifically, with the implementation of multilinguistic education in the secondary schools of Kazakhstan and with the development of functional literacy of schoolchildren by means of the Russian language.
