Об Истории как ТЕКСТЕ, метафорах истории и следствиях из них

Abstract

The author revisits the notion of history and its semantic dictionary representations (Ozhegov's Dictionary, Webster's Dictionary, Cambridge Dictionary) by addressing the works of the well-known historiographers of the epoch of postmodernism. In the author's opinion, the semantic interpretation of history implies the textual nature of this notion. Since, according to the author, there is no “history” outside the text, it is the introduction of the word “text” into the definition that opens up the possibility of establishing the correlation between the word “history” and the extratextual reality.
