Abstract

В статье рассматривается речевой портрет сегодняшнего лидера Китая Си Цзиньпина.

In the article, the authors' attention is focused on the following aspects of Xi Jinping's speech portrait: use of metaphors, intertextuality, and use of quotations. When comparing Xi Jinping's speeches with similar speeches of his predecessors in office, differences were revealed in the rhetoric of the current leader of China and Hu Jintao and Jiang Zemin, indicating that the current leader of the People's Republic of China positions himself as a more confident leader, less dependent on the traditional sources of ideological and political continuity and setting ambitious goals in foreign.
