Abstract

В статье освещаются факты из биографии и деятельность в качестве заведующего военной кафедрой в Свердловском пединституте в 1934-1938 гг. Георгия Абрамовича Жебелева.

The article highlights the facts from the biography and activities as the head of the military department at the Sverdlovsk Pedagogical Institute in 1934-1938. George Abramovich Zhebelev. It is shown to what extent these facts and activities as a military instructor influenced the fact that Zhebelev was illegally repressed by the NKVD. It is concluded that the accusations against the defendant of hostility to the Soviet system are far-fetched and false, on the grounds that Zhebelev was a member of the Party of Left Socialist Revolutionaries (SRS) in the past.
