| Abstract: | The paper describes the historic experience of nautical education in Archangelsk during the pre-revolutionary period by giving an example of the Archangelsk merchant marine school, the role of society and individuals in solving material, financial and other problems being shown and the structure of students and teachers, as well as the educational process, including student marine practice supervised by experts, being analyzed В статье анализируется исторический опыт организации морского образования в Архангельске в дореволюционный период на примере деятельности Архангельского торгово-мореходного училища. Показана роль общественной инициативы и частных лиц в решении материально-технических, финансовых и иных проблем, проанализированы состав учащихся и преподавателей училища, организация учебно-воспитательного процесса, в том числе практики учащихся на судах под руководством специалистов |
