Abstract

The article deals with the urgent issue of science and education integration in the academic activity of higher school. The authors pay special attention to the image of the Ural region in military media discourses of the USSR and Western Europe of the Great Patriotic War period. The urgency of the chosen retrospective period is proved by the necessity to reveal significant tendencies in modeling key images of the Great Patriotic War, which is of high priority on the eve of the 75th anniversary of Victory Day. The aim of the project is to carry out a complex comparative analysis of the image of the Ural region in military media discourses of the Great Patriotic War period of the USSR and Western Europe..
