Речевой портрет Терезы Мэй: вербально-семантическая составляющая

Abstract

The article analyzes the speech portrait of a linguistic personality in political discourse. The study is per-formed in the tradition of cognitive-sociocommunicative research of national-cultural language semantics. The material has been selected and analyzed in accordance with the methods of contextual and conceptual analyses. The study also uses the communicative-pragmatic method of research. The authors reveal the main communicative strategies and tactics of a politi-cian, enhancing the verbal impact, and make up a speech portrait of a woman-politician. As a result of analysis of practical material, the authors make a conclusion about the tactics and strategies used by Theresa May in political discourse.

В статье рассматриваются основные речевые стратегии и тактики Т. Мэй, способствующие речевому воздействию, а также составляется речевой портрет женщины-политика.
