Abstract

M. Shishkin's novels "Capture of Ismail", "Venus hair", "Pismovnik" form the metatext in which defining role is played by the Word concept. In article, it is traced, as author's comprehension of philosophy of language was reflected in texts, which many critics are named by linguistic novels. Various aspects of philosophical understanding of the Word are analyzed, the special accent is made on communication of a Word with such concepts, as freedom, life, death.
