Abstract:	The article discusses similarities and differences in the adoption of the foreign cultural space in the poems of Akhmatova and Nekrasova of the war period. Both poets have valued the beauty and generosity of the Orient. However, for Nekrasova Asia did not become a substitute home, while Akhmatova perceived the encounter with the Orient as a return to the archaic motherland, and an immersion in her prememory.
