Abstract: | The article deals with the modification of the discursive practices of the contemporary British elite caused by the social processes of globalization, democratization of society and the monarchy crisis. The author analyzes the speech practices of members of the royal family and investigates linguistic means that are used by the British elite to fulfil the policy of domination which becomes possible due to realization of the concept of 'flexible thinking'. Рассматриваются модификации дискурсивных практик современной британской элиты, вызванные изменениями в ее социальных практиках, которые обусловлены процессами глобализации, демократизации общества и кризисом института монархии. Анализируются речевые практики представителей королевской семьи. Исследуются языковые средства осуществления политики доминирования британской элиты на базе концепта ГИБКОСТЬ МЫШЛЕНИЯ. |
