Профессиональный стандарт педагога-дефектолога: перспективы, доработки, практика

Abstract

The article highlights the basic content of a report written for the Third All-Russian Congress of Defec­tologists, devoted to the discussion of one of the most important issues of modern special education: the need to improve, test and implement in practice the professional standard “Pedagogue-defectologist”, formulating the characteristics of professional functions and actions of special pedagogues on the Federal level. Special pedagogues should be able to form positive personal traits while teaching and to develop, reduce and overcome disabilities in the pupils with special educational needs in institutions of the system of education, health protection and social security of the population. In line with the modern socio-cultural conditions and inclusion of pupils previously considered poor learners in the uniform general education process, the article substantiates the need to continue work on the questions of additions and amendments in the general list of professional functions of pedagogue-defectologist.
