Abstract:	The article considers the works of young authors (V. Temirov, L. Goralik, M. Geide), in which the protagonist faces the difficulty or the impossibility of selfidentification. This extreme situation of the loss of identity calls for a diffuse form combining both poetic and prosaic traits, and breaching the conventional boundaries of literary categories.
