Abstract

The paper also raises the question of the need to take into account functional asymmetry of the brain when working with children with special educational needs. It is proved that disintegration of the hemispheres of the brain can cause the emergence of mental underdevelopment and learning disabilities, which brings about the need to develop a differentiated approach to the education of children with special educational needs and to carry out a corresponding study in the field of defectology.
